Keep Calm and Carry On!

The Carry On films are the most successful and prolific comedy franchise in British entertainment history. Since 1958 and through thirty-one films, as well television and stage shows, they have delighted, amused and titillated the entire world, evolving to mirror the changes in society and making household names of their stars.

In this brand new theatre celebration, and in salute to the creative team and legends of the series, two of the Carry On leading ladies, Valerie Leon and Jacki Piper, appear live and in person to share their memories and stories of what it was like to go Loving, Camping, Up the Jungle and be At Your Convenience, accompanied by clips and unseen behind-the-scenes gems of their roles and all curated by the official Carry On historian, Robert Ross.’

Valerie appeared in seven Carry Ons in a career that also included two Bond films, The Italian Job and Hammer Horror, Blood From the Mummy’s Tomb.
Jacki Piper
Guest
Jacki starred as the romantic lead character in four Carry On films as well as roles in The Two Ronnies, Reginald Perrin and, most recently, Nolly.

Interviewer
Robert is one of the foremost British comedy historians and has written many books on the subject of the Carry Ons, including The Carry On Companion.
