David Doyle
Executive Producer
David joined us in 2021 from the Abbey Theatre, Ireland’s National Theatre, where he worked as part of the producing team. Prior to that David worked as a freelance producer and lighting designer. His work has been seen across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the USA, and Australia.
Favourite play? Outlying Islands by David Greig.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? The chance to see such vibrant work in such an intimate setting right in the heart of the West End.
Favourite film? Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

David Burns
Press and Media Officer
After working as an actor, David moved into theatre marketing and publicity some twenty-five years ago, first working with the likes of Rambert Dance Company, the Society of London Theatre and the Really Useful Group, before setting up his theatre PR company in 2004. He has worked with us since 2010.
Favourite play? The Tempest.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? Creativity, camaraderie and kindness – a small theatre that packs a punch.
Favourite holiday? Snowed in with my family at an isolated deserted hotel in the Colorado Rockies, a terrifying maze of corridors, a typewriter, a novel to write...!

Penny Horner
Executive Director and Co-Founder
Penny started her career as a riding instructor - an idyllic life, happily working all over the country. Then she came back to live with family in Richmond, and began a new career in publishing - why? - working for Michael Heseltine! Then she met Howard Jameson, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Favourite play? Off the King’s Road, or Tonight at 8.30, or Pictures of Dorian Gray.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? It’s my baby, my life!
Ideal evening off? Anything that includes PROSECCO!

Howard Jameson
Chair of Trustees and Co-Founder
Howard’s ‘baptism of fire’ into theatre came when together with Penny Horner he decided to turn the changing rooms of an Italian restaurant into a theatre! Now it seems a lifetime ago, but it’s been an incredible journey. And he still enjoys serving our patrons drinks when asked to be the barman!
Favourite play? All That Fall, with Sir Michael Gambon and Dame Eileen Atkins.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? Everyone connected are friends with heart, soul and spirit, and we thank them for their support.
Best holiday? Either Phuket or with my youngest daughter in Barcelona.

Natasha Ketel
Marketing Manager
Natasha is a Theatre Producer and Marketeer based in London. She joins us from Omnibus Theatre where she worked as Development Officer. She also works in film as both a Development Assistant and Short Film Producer.

Lucy Mewis-McKerrow
Production Manager
Lucy is a production manager and theatre maker. She joined in 2021 after not being able to stay away while working as a freelancer. Her role entails of supporting the physical realisation of Jermyn Street’s in-house shows and sometimes a bit of hoovering.
Favourite play? Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs) by Carl Grose.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? How every time I walk down the stairs to the theatre, I’m still taken aback by how magical it feels.
Favourite tool? Nothing beat the kimble gun.

Al Miller
Carne Deputy Director
Al is a director & writer. He’s worked on modern adaptations of the classics, musicals, plays and new writing over the last 6 years.
In 2022, Al became Resident Director of Oxford Playhouse, and followed on to be Artist Development Associate. As Assistant & Associate Director: Persona (Ivo van Hove, Montpellier), The Hobbit (Oxford Playhouse), Cinderella (Oxford Playhouse), Parliament Square (ALRA) Bon Ami (Battersea Arts Centre/ Unicorn Theatre & Tour). He was previously on the Young Vic Genesis directors’ programme and originally trained on Mountview’s’ BA Acting Course.
Favourite play? Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams

Alex Pearson
Box Office Manager
Alex has a multitude of different roles in the theatre industry and has worked in a variety of theatres. She thrives working on many projects and balances working as a Director and Producer, while calling her base and second home Jermyn Street Theatre.

Stella Powell-Jones
Artistic Director
Stella Powell-Jones became Artistic Director in 2022 but Jermyn Street Theatre has been part of her life since she joined in 2017 as the building's first Carne Deputy Director. Prior to that, she spent ten years in the U.S. directing new plays. When she moved home to London, she found an artistic home in Jermyn Street Theatre.
Favourite film? The Godfather.
Best thing about Jermyn Street Theatre? The team I get to work with and the places their ideas take me.
Favourite play? Long Day's Journey into Night, by Eugene O'Neill.

Gabriele Uboldi
Producer
Gabriele is a producer and multidisciplinary theatre-maker interested in formally inventive work. Since moving to London in 2020, they have worked with the Barbican, the Young Vic, and the Bridge Theatre while also independently producing and directing queer work through their company Undone Theatre.
Favourite play? Attempts On Her Life by Martin Crimp.
