Overview

“The thing is, Jane Austen isn’t just any author; she’s YOUR author.”

Emma Watson has been enjoying a privileged upbringing with a rich aunt but has been unexpectedly dumped back with her genteel but impoverished family to enter the race to find potential suitors to secure some sort of happy ending. So far, very familiar but this story has a twist – it doesn’t have an ending

Laura Wade’s bold and playful adaptation of Austen’s unfinished novel has the capacity to endlessly surprise its audience.

The Oxford School of Drama’s graduating students breathe stunning life into this witty and entertaining play.
