Overview
“Forget your Jay Zs, your Kanyes, your Stormzys, I’m a new breed.”
Tupac never died. He was reincarnated – as a half-Indian, half-Irish boy on the rural South-West Coast of Ireland. About as far from West Coast hip hop as humanly possible. But this is what 17-year old Liam believes with his entire heart and soul: he’s destined to be the world’s next rap superstar – Straight Outta Skibbereen.
This new play with original music from Jaisal Marmion offers an exhilarating, irreverent exploration of mixed-race identity. Boy In Da Korma is the story of one kid’s desperate attempt to belong as much as he wants to stand out.
Content Warnings
