Antic Disposition presents

 Until  Saturday 17 May 2008

In the scorching heat of summer, the streets of Verona simmer with tension. Two rival families are fighting an undeclared war.
With emotions running high, Verona is a powder keg of barely suppressed violence. And when love strikes the houses of Montague and Capulet, it sparks a chain of events that will blow the city apart.

Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers are brought vividly to life in Antic Disposition’s haunting new production, starring Andrew Hayden-Smith (Doctor Who, Byker Grove) as Romeo, Ami Sayers (Antic Disposition’s Twelfth Night) as Juliet, and much-loved stage and screen actress Susan Penhaligon (most recently seen in ITV’s Emmerdale) in the
role of the Nurse
